Paediatric Exercise Physiology

What is Paediatric Exercise Physiology?

Paediatric Exercise Physiology is a specialised area of allied health that focuses on using exercise and movement-based therapy to support the health, development, and wellbeing of children and adolescents.

It is delivered by Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) who are trained to work with children of all ages and abilities, including those with medical conditions, developmental delays, disabilities, or mental health challenges.

Does Your Child Experience:

Delayed motor skills or clumsiness?

Physical Activity Avoidance or Low Confidence?

Low muscle tone or weakness?

Difficulty with focus or emotional regulation?

Movement is essential for physical, mental, and emotional development. Our paediatric exercise physiologists work with families to empower children to move better, feel stronger, and live healthier lives, in ways that are fun, safe, and age-appropriate.
