Occupational Therapy

What is Paediatric Occupational Therapy?

At Necessity Kids, our Occupational Therapists help children develop the skills they need to participate confidently in everyday life.

Occupational Therapy can support children with fine motor skills, sensory processing, emotional regulation, self-care, play skills, school readiness, independence, and participation at home, school, and in the community.

We work closely with families to understand what is important to their child and create practical strategies that fit into everyday routines. Our goal is to help children build confidence, develop new skills, and participate more fully in the activities that matter most to them.

Whether your child is learning to manage daily tasks, improve coordination, regulate emotions, or prepare for school, our team is here to support your family.

Does Your Child Experience:

Struggles with everyday tasks or independence?

Difficulty with emotional regulation/social skills?

Delays in fine motor skills?

Sensory sensitivities?

We will be offering this service in the coming months.
